At the end of July, the girls and I traveled to Pittsburgh with my mom and dad to visit my grandma. On the way, we stopped at my parents' house for a night. My mom, Allison, and I enjoyed lunch and a performance of Sleeping Beauty at a local dinner theater.
After the show, we waited in line to meet the cast. Allison was excited to get her picture taken with the lead actors!
The next day, we all drove to Pittsburgh from my parents' house. We had a nice time visiting with my grandma, and I know that she loved getting to see the girls! She hadn't seen them since Christmas, so the girls had grown quite a bit since the last time we visited.
On one of the days that we were there, we all took a riverboat cruise on the river in downtown Pittsburgh.
It was fun to see all of the sites along the way! The girls particularly enjoyed being on a big boat.
One of the treats afterward was a special hat. ARRGGHH, Mateys -- watch out for these mean little pirates!
This picture of MaMa is definitely one of my favorites! We're glad that we got to spend a long weekend with her since we don't get to see her too often.
