Allison with my friend Monica's two girls, Grace and Molly

The tables were beautifully decorated with flowers, Victorian china, and these adorable shower favors that my mom made! We had a delicious lunch - scones, egg salad sandwiches, chicken salad sandwiches, cucumber sandwiches, fresh fruit, vanilla tea and cupcakes. Everything was homemade and very tasty!
We played a couple of bridal word games, let Lindsey share a little bit about herself, and then had her open presents. Allison, of course, couldn't wait to help her open presents! I got her a recipe book and had all of the ladies fill out a recipe card to add to her book. Hopefully, she and Scott will find many of those recipes to be delicious!
We all had a great time! My mom and I were glad that we could have some of our family friends get to know Lindsey a little bit even though she and Scott live so far away. We think that Lindsey is wonderful, and we're so glad that Scott has chosen to bring her into our family. We're really looking forward to some fun times in Seattle when they get married in July!
