The Coy Connection: Scott's & Lindsey's Rehearsal and Dinner

On June 15th, we met at the resort for the wedding rehearsal. It was raining, so we had to have it underneath a canopy. We enjoyed getting to meet some of Scott's and Lindsey's bridesmaids and groomsmen for the first time as well as some of Lindsey's family.

After a short and sweet rehearsal, we drove a little ways to a very nice restaurant on the water for the rehearsal dinner.

The dinner was supposed to be outside on the water, but it was raining unfortunately. Although the dinner was inside, it was a nice, cozy atmosphere.

My mom made these cute little favors with chocolates inside for all of the guests and decorated the tables with pretty lanterns.

The dinner began with some fruit, vegetables, cheese and crackers as appetizers. For the main course, the guests had a choice of steak, pork chop, or shrimp and scallops. We had a variety of cheesecakes for dessert. All of the food was very delicious and everyone seemed to enjoy their dinners!

The dinner was quite the social atmosphere with some people meeting each other for the first time and others catching up with friends and family. My dad welcomed everyone and Lindsey's step-dad Mike gave a toast. After dinner, Lindsey and Scott introduced everyone and gave gifts to their parents, bridesmaids, groomsmen, and Allison.

Lindsey and Scott gave Allison a pearl bracelet to wear in the wedding, a princess lunchbox and lots of princess school supplies for school. She of course was in heaven! Scott gave Matt a huge UK decal. He's not sure where he's going to put it yet, but I'm sure that we'll find a good spot! Lindsey gave me a gold necklace and earrings to wear in the wedding, a gold clutch purse and gold flip-flops for the wedding day -- all were very cute!
