Snow, snow, and more snow! We have had so much snow this winter which has led to many snow days. I always thoroughly enjoy every snow day and the thrill of watching the school closings on T.V., hoping to see my school district's name scroll across the screen. To me, a snow day is a day to sleep in, stay in my pajamas for a little bit longer, and have extra snuggle time with my girls. When it wasn't too cold, the girls really enjoyed being outside in the snow.
For Christmas, Gramma bought Allison a cute little cupcake baking set complete with a cupcake apron, a mini whisk, a mini wooden spoon, mini cupcake papers, and a mini cupcake pan. So cute!
So, when she and my dad came to visit for the weekend, she and Allison made strawberry cupcakes with strawberry icing. She even let Allison use the electric hand mixer by herself. I guess that a grandma's tolerance for messes is higher than a mother's!
The finished product...who doesn't just love a strawberry cupcake with strawberry icing AND sprinkles AND a lemon gummy bear on top?!
